Blind Spend helps you identify keywords you may be spending on — or should consider tracking — but are not currently tracked in Rank Radar.
These are your campaign blind spots: search terms where you may be investing budget or missing visibility into organic performance.
🧭 What Blind Spend shows
Blind Spend surfaces keywords from:
- Your PPC reports
- Your existing Dives
It highlights terms where:
- You have ad spend
- But the keyword is not being tracked in Rank Radar
This helps you decide:
- What to start tracking
- What to stop spending on
🎯 Why this matters
Without tracking these keywords:
- You don’t know if ads are improving organic rank
- You may be wasting budget on irrelevant terms
- You miss opportunities to double down on winners
Blind Spend helps you:
- Focus budget on converting keywords
- Expand tracking where it actually matters
➕ How to start tracking keywords
- Go to Rank Radar → Blind Spend
- Select one or more keywords
- Click Start Tracking
Once tracked:
- Keywords move into your main Rank Radar view
- You can monitor organic rank + PPC impact over time
🚫 How to negate keywords (stop wasting spend)
You can negate keywords directly from Blind Spend to stop ads from showing on low-performing terms.
To negate keywords:
- Select one or more keywords
- Click Negate Keyword
- Confirm the action
What happens when you negate:
- The keyword is negated across all campaigns for the ASIN
- Your ads will stop showing for that search term
- The keyword is moved to Archive to keep your list focused
⚠️ Requirements for negating keywords
Negation is only available when:
- You have an active Amazon connection
- There is at least one active campaign for the ASIN
If these conditions are not met, the option will be disabled.
⚠️ Limitations
- Some keywords may not be eligible for negation
- Example: keywords with unsupported special characters
- If no recent campaigns are found, negation will not be available
📊 How to use Blind Spend effectively
Use metrics like:
- Spend
- Sales
- Units Sold
Typical workflow:
- Identify high-spend keywords
- Check if they generate sales
- Decide:
- ✅ Start tracking → if relevant and performing
- 🚫 Negate → if wasting budget
- ⏸️ Ignore → if low priority
