Re-diving a niche ensures that all dive information is current. Regular updates are beneficial for several reasons:
Stay Updated on Competitors: Keep track of any changes in your competitors’ information or strategies.
Maintain Current Keyword and Ranking Information: Ensure your keyword and ranking data reflects the most recent trends and search behaviors.
Discover New Keywords: Identify new keywords that have emerged since your last dive.
Compare Changes Over Time: Analyze changes in the niche and adjust your strategies accordingly.
Dive Again - Method 1: Niche Tracker
Step 1: Go to the Niche Tracker tool and click the 'Dive Again' button. This will start the fresh dive.
Each time you update a dive, the historical info is saved in Niche Tracker. This helps you observe the changes in the competitors and market over time. Some of the info saved for each product in the dive includes the Price, Sales, Rating, SV% (the percentage of MKL search volume ranked on page 1), BSR (best seller rank), and OOS% (out of stock %).
Dive Again - Method 2: MKL Compare
Step 1: From the Master Keyword List, toggle the Compare feature to 'On'.
Step 2: If you've never updated the dive before, click 'Update now' to refresh your dive.
Or, if you have done a dive before, you can select which dives you want to compare or click 'dive again now' to re-dive.
Pro Tip:
Whenever you dive a niche again, use the Compare feature in the MKL to see what changed between a past dive and the newer dive. This will give you valuable insight into how the niche and competitors are progressing and regressing.
