✅ Yes — Google is no longer required
You can now sign up and log in to Data Dive using any email address.
Whether it’s Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or your company domain, you can access your account with just your email.
Simply select “Sign in with Email” on the login screen and enter your address to receive a secure login link.
No Google account setup or linking is needed anymore.
🌐 Browser Recommendation
For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome.
The Data Dive Chrome Extension is available exclusively for Chrome users, and it’s required for running Dives and certain advanced product research tools.
If you use another browser, you can still access your dashboard and manage your account — just note that the extension features won’t be available there.
👥 Adding Team Members
Collaboration is built into every Data Dive plan.
You can now invite teammates using any email address, regardless of whether they use Google.
If you’re on the Standard plan, your account can have up to 10 total members, allowing your whole team to share insights, manage products, and work together seamlessly.
To invite team members, you can do so in your User Management Page:
Go to Settings → Team in your Data Dive dashboard.
Click Invite Member.
Enter their email address — they’ll receive an invitation to join your account instantly.
🔐 Why This Change Matters
Previously, all users needed to log in through Google. Now, you have full flexibility:
Use your existing company or personal email.
Skip the Google account linking process entirely.
Get your whole team onboard faster.
This update makes Data Dive more accessible for teams with mixed email providers or company-managed domains.
Your Data Dive account is tied to your email — no password is required.
For security, we use email-based verification codes to log you in. This means:
We do not store or manage passwords
Each time you log in, you’ll receive a one-time code via email
-
Your access is securely linked to your verified email address.
If you want to verify which email address is tied to your Data Dive account, head over to the User Management Page.
If you have trouble receiving the code, please check your spam folder or whitelist @datadive.tools.
