After months of hard work, we're excited to announce our newest upgrade to our DataDive Tools software, our online web app!
Given the restrictive nature of Google's ecosystem (Chrome extension, active Google accounts, Google Sheets access, constant authorizations), we've been working on an online version for users to be able to create Research Sheets without the need for a Google account (don't worry though, you can still use the Google Sheets version). This new online version (V2) is the culmination of our hard work and we're proud of what we've accomplished so far.
Starting today, new Research Sheets will open by default in our online web version (which you can visit directly via 2.datadive.tools). We've aimed to build our online version to keep the same structure as the Google Sheets template, so we hope that you'll feel right at home.
And while we still have lots to do, we encourage you to use the 'Feedback' button on the right side of every screen, and send us as much as you can, we read it all (we really do!). We'll continue to work hard on polishing our software as much as possible (hint: tutorials are coming!).
As an important note: We have copied exclusions and outlier inclusions from the old sheets, but we encourage everyone to work in v2 from now on, as any work done in the sheet will NOT propagate to v2.
If you still want to open your Google Sheets Research Sheets, you can still do so by opening your niche, and in the left side menu, click on Niche Tracker (under Monitoring), and click on any of the dates to open its Google Sheet version:
New and existing Google Sheets will still remain in your own personal Google Drive folder.
