What is PPC Keywords?

PPC keywords are the starting point for building out ad campaigns based on your MKL. Here you can select which keywords to include in your campaigns.

How to use the PPC Keywords tab:

Step 1: Go to the PPC Keywords tab.

Step 2: Import your cleaned Master Keyword List by selecting "Import MKL". The MKL will contain the full list of keywords.

Step 3: At the list's bottom, you'll find suggested ASINs and keywords that could be used as product targets for your PPC campaigns.

Step 4: To add keywords manually, simply scroll to an empty box in the list and type in the desired keywords and Search Volume, then press "enter". You can also copy and paste keywords into the list. 

Step 5: Remove any unnecessary keywords from the list by highlighting them and hitting "Delete" on your keyboard.

Step 6: To include or exclude keywords in your campaign as exact, phrase, or broad match, simply check the corresponding box for each keyword. If a box is left unchecked, it will not be included in the campaign.

Note: You need to connect your Amazon account first in order to see certain info, like Bid Range. By default, the information will be blank until you connect to your Seller Central PPC account. Once connected, the data will be imported.

Anatomy of PPC Keywords tab

1. Niche Name: refers to the name or title of a specific product niche or category.
2. Exclusions: Sellers can see the excluded keywords, phrases and ASINs that are non-relevant.
3. Niche Settings: refers to a set of criteria that can be applied to filter and narrow down the search results for products in a particular niche. These settings include: Minimum Search Volume, Maximum relevancy, Maimum rank and Minimum number of words.
4. Assignee: This shows the user within your organization who has been assigned to this research.
5. Researched: Shows the date of when the most recent research was completed for this niche.
6. Notification: Here the user can view notifications and reminders to complete standardized research. Clicking on the icon will reveal all of the research tasks that have been scheduled.
7. Announcement: Here the user can view announcements from Data Dive including Office Hours topics and new feature release updates.
8. Comments: Here the user can view comments and collaborate with members of their organization. Comments can be left as text or a screenshot.
9. Org: The email of the admin of the account.
10. Add space or label: Adding preferred space and label in a niche.
11. Import MKL Button: A button that allows you to import your own list of keywords to analyze.
12. List of keywords and Asins:  list of relevant keywords and ASINs to optimize product listings.
13. Search Volume: The average monthly search volume for a particular keyword on Amazon.
14. Relevancy: A measure of how relevant a keyword is to your product. Higher relevancy means that the keyword is more likely to result in a sale.
15. Normalized KWs: The keywords are modified to a standardized form for better analysis and comparison.
16. Aggregate Search Volume: The total search volume for all the keywords in the search term.
17. Impression: The number of times an ad was displayed to a shopper.
18. Impression Share: The percentage of impressions you received divided by the estimated number of impressions you were eligible to receive.
19. Impression Rank: The position of the ad on the search results page.
20. Exact: The exact match type of the keyword.
21. Exact Suggested Bid: The recommended bid for exact match type keywords.
22. Exact Suggested Bid Range: The range of suggested bids for exact match type keywords.

23. Phrase: The phrase match type of the keyword.
24. Phrase Suggested Bid: The recommended bid for phrase match type keywords.
25. Phrase Suggested Bid Range: The range of suggested bids for phrase match type keywords.
26. Broad: The broad match type of the keyword.
27. Broad Suggested Bid: The recommended bid for broad match type keywords.
28. Broad Suggested Bid Range: The range of suggested bids for broad match type keywords.
29. Include in campaign:  allows you to choose which types of Amazon keyword match types you want to include in your advertising campaign. This also includes Exact, phrase, broad and product
30. Exact Campaign Keywords: The list of exact match type keywords in your campaign.
31. Phrase Campaign Keywords: The list of phrase match type keywords in your campaign.
32. Keywords don't overlap: The list of keywords that don't overlap between your exact and phrase match campaigns.
33. Broad Campaign Keywords: The list of broad match type keywords in your campaign.
34. Columns:You can customize the view of the data to suit your needs and make it easier to analyze and draw insights from the information presented by selecting and deselecting the checkbox.
35. Export: Export the list of keywords from the Normalizer as Excel or CSV.
36. Resource Center : Users can ask questions, give feedback, and access resources such as guided tours and a knowledge base to enhance understanding of the tool.
